After the vote being casted and designing the Production Company logo in previous posts, we have thought of how we would animate this. We drew an outline of the avalanche and wish for this to have a crystal shine running all the way through finishing at the end with a sparkle sound. The crystal colour will be silver. The background will be black and the logo name will be written as 'Crystal Avalanche' in a font from 'dafont.com' the name of the font is called - Fontdinerdotcom Sparkly. This will also be in a sparkly colour.

Animated Film Title
As we have designed our film title earlier in the post, we wanted to animate this so the blonde hair on the top and the bottom of the picture would move to show the effect of hair blowing (hair being the key aspect in our film). And in between the hair is the title name 'Gothel', we have mixed ideas of how this could appear; it could dissolve in, start up small and zoom out and others. After testing this out we have resulted with this.
How Filming/Schedule 1 Went...
When we arrived at Woolwich cemetery, we noticed that the suns light could have been a problem while filming as the rays were very bright, whereas we needed it to be cloudy and gloomy. However, we manipulated this by filming only one scene in this condition and the rest was in the midst of the woods where everything is dark and shadowy. The sun light affected our shots because the glare was really strong and powerful which made it difficult to compromise.
Being in a woods resulted in uneven flooring which made it hard to have even, straight angled shots. We overcome this by eventually finding out there is a mechanism on the tripod that allows us to adjust the camera to make it balance. However, we found this out half way through filming which was annoying.
One of the camera shots that was problematic was the pan shot as it would always come out bumpy and not smooth; we did this multiple times which also wasted a lot of our time filming and the battery life on the camera. We tried our best to make it as consistent as possible, only to find out the next lesson an easy technique to resolve this-which is to use an elastic band to avoid any mishaps. If this needs to be reshot, we are willing to do it and in a successful manner.
The battery life on the camera was not as long as we hoped for. We were in the cemetery and woods for nearly 3 hours and the battery life is about 2 hours and 45 minutes so the last shot of the cackle and the zooming into the mouth was not fully achieved. But we also have various endings to the trailer which could also be used if we choose not to use the cackle. After editing this, we will see how well it looks and if we need to incorporate this.
The last shot that was needed was the evil sneer and cackle, this was not as easy as we initially thought. This was due to finding the dialogue was so iconic and stereotypical for a villain that it didn't come out as we hoped. We would either laugh or it didn't look evil enough for the performance to look justified and believable.
Practicality was somewhat of an issue, for example with branches being in the way, trees obscuring the shot or not being able to climb up to use it for the high angle shots. However, searching deeper into the woods, we found more pathways and woody areas to use. In the cemetery, it was difficult to film some parts because the gravestones would be in the view so trying to eliminate this was not as easy. We did achieve this but hopefully editing/cropping some parts of the scene will be beneficial for us.
Overall, as negative as the previous paragraphs seem, the whole day of filming was really successful and enjoyable because we filmed the majority of what we needed to get done efficiently but also we did it well, we have included retakes that could be used for quick snappy shots, we have various shots and each sequence relates back to our storyboard trailer and what we wanted to accomplish. We are happy with the results.
Testing Shot
Some of the shot we want to achieve need to be revised and to ensure that it works and fits in with what we have on our storyboard and what it would look like as a whole. some of these shots we are looking at are
Pan Shot (works or not?):
High Angle Shot (easy to achieve?):

Schedule
After discussing what times are easy for us and how the weather would be and getting all the props and costumes ready, we have set up our time schedule and hope to fulfil the requirements. Below is a detailed schedule of this.

Feedback From: 16th
Feedback no 3 was still positive although there could have been improvements which could have easily been settled before marking. Location shots were already posted further down, so they were not seen. The casting shots have been re done and adjusted to how it is preferred and our animated movie board will easily be improved with the discussion of what is necessary. With the labelling of each post, it has been suggested that not everyone contributes to each one. It may seem this way, but we all contribute but as it happens, only one of us, will write it up. We will definitely consider switching this up so it does not look unbalanced.

Production Company Logo Name: Re-Vote
When we set up our poll on PollJunkie we found a few issues and realised that that there was a problem to vote. We set the deadline to be the 10th October and when we went to find out the results, no votes had been cast, so there was nothing to gain. To rectify this we went round the class and asked them what they though was the best title name.
We asked our media class, business class and people in the study centre to see which one was favoured most. The majority of the group agreed with 'Crystal Avalanche'.

Casting Shots and Audition Tape
Looking at our characters, we have concluded our search with who will play each character.
Gothel will be played by Meliz Yesilada - She has had previous drama experience internally and externally from school and she best fits the characters exposition and features. Below is her casting shot and a snippet of her audition tape.
The step-mother Gretchen will be played by Nicole Freeman as she plays the forever youthful mother who only nurtures her own daughter Roseline. Below is her casting shot.
Roseline will be played by Ella Husseyin (Meliz's cousin) who has all the power, needs and desires of the stepmother and Gothel. She is young, innocent and charming-all the characteristics for a vital character. Below is her casting shot.
Transcript
For our transcript, our trailer is mainly based around visuals and non-diagetic sounds (music) therefore the dialogue is very minimal, apart from in the last scene the iconic and infamous line "Rapunzel, let down your hair" will be proclaimed.
The song that will be played is also sung by the character (Gothel/Gretchen) which is 'The Magic Healing Song' that is already on the soundtrack.

Animated Storyboard
Here is a rough outline of what our animated storyboard would look like, considering the timing of a teaser trailer and what would be revealed. We are pleased with the rough out come and will also show the fully detailed one too.

Storyboard
After discussing what could entail in our teaser trailer, we have finally concluded with the scenario below:
After knowing all of the specific shots and how the teaser trailer would run through, we decided to do a photographic storyboard to know what the direction would look like; we used Claire Stapley and Molly Musgrove.
Costumes
For the costumes for all of the characters, we have looked at Charity shops and the drama department in school and our own wardrobes to make the characters look as similar to the era it is supposed to be set in.
Here are some of the options for the Stepmother (Gretchen), we will be adjusting this and adding more detail if it does not suit the themes.
we added a white puffy sleeve blouse with a ordinary petticoat that we have in various colours (so it can be changed) we will be putting two to three under skirts underneath the skirts to give it that old effect, even though the sleeves are half sleeved, after watching Jane Eyre and many other period films we noticed that some of them wore a mesh/net see-through blouse/sleeve piece under their blouse, this is what we have part created:

For the Stepsister (Roseline), we will be using the similar themes of how her animated dress would look like - pink - adjusting this again with pink sleeves.
Props
The two main props that we need to keep in mind are the hair and the magical golden flower.
For the hair we have searched various ways of which we could portray this. We first started out by looking at Nicole's extensions as a possible solution for the long hair, however we noticed it wouldn't work in our favour because it was not long enough and it wouldn't be easily brushed and attached. So we decided to look on eBay and found a cheap halloween Rapunzel wig which was long enough to emphasise the long hair which enables us to style to our desired description.
For Gothel's hair, all three of us have got our tatty and matted extensions to create her unattractive frizzy hair which is easy to control and use.
For the golden magical flower, we will be using a real flower to portray the beauty and special elements. We have looked at florists who have got the flowers that we are interested in and we will buy them when needed.
Location
Discussing our location was not as difficult as what we assumed it might have been. For one of our shots at the beginning of the teaser trailer we have to use an old looking living room with a vintage chair and decor. We decided to use Eva's living room area as it has a good surrounding to meet our criteria.

For the rest of the shots, we will be using the woods and the cemetery. This will be shot in two places; Harvington and Woolwich/Plumstead Cemetery. Harvington is a good location for us as it is a massive park, that has an eerie dark atmosphere and Woolwich/Plumsted Cemetery is a good option for us as the location provides not only a spooky and chilling shot but it also provides us with gothic long tower like building for the shot to bring down the hair.
